Oil besmirched smiles of puppeteers are becoming grim

Oil besmirched smiles are becoming grim. Surely we know by now that any Iraqi oil deal legislation that benefits America (and the west) will be nullified by continued fighting. We’ve been sucking on oil long enough. There is nothing we manufacture that doesn’t contain it. For the west it will become as valuable as blood. So many alternative sources of power have been left to dangle we will be forced to war for every drop of oil. We will also have to go to war for water and agricultural products. There will be fishing wars, food wars, cloth wars.

If you don’t think Iraq was over oil take East Timor. Back in 75 Australia, the US and Indonesia were divvying up the oil in the Timor Sea. On the eve of the Indonesian invasion of that country Kissinger and President Gerald Ford warned that the invasion couldn’t begin until they were out of Indonesian airspace. The moment they were out the invasion began. Over 250,000 people were killed. At that time East Timor was the only country with a falling population (UN figures).

East Timor garnered world opinion for more than 20 years and the guerillas (not terrorists) fought the Indonesian military. Finally the Ford Foundation looked at East Timor and joined the protests. It was the beginning of America turning around. (If that was twenty years how long will it take to save the planet now the tipping point has passed us by? That is from environmentalist Dr Tim Flannery and Earl de Blonville, Arctic expedition leader.)

Now we’re back at East Timor’s throat and the corrupted country is only just holding together. Australia is helping to destroy the country under the guise of saving it. So is Indonesia.Haven’t seen the evidence of the US working at the puppetry, yet.
